	The game locks up, freezes or crashes while playing the game. Is there a way to prevent this? I got an error message: “Invalid page fault in module iviaudio.ax.” What now? One problem we know of is related to DVD software installed on some machines. Many computers come with InterVideo’s WinDVD software that includes software to assist in the playback of music. This software is not compatible with The Sims. InterVideo has provided a fix. Click the link below and download the fix. Unzip the file and double click ivi_fix.bat to fix the problem. Download ivi_fix.zip This file defaults to the directory where WinDVD from intervideo is installed. If the file is in another location, you will want to first do a search for iviaudio.ax and then place the ivi_fix.bat file into that directory. Then run it This should correct the conflict with your DVD encoding software. If you are still having a problem, you should contact your DVD vendor for help with the DVD decoding software.
