Make-A-Celebrity allows you to create your perfect match and visit with them in Studio Town.
Customize their looks, personality, interests and superstardom! Did you make an undeniable Superstar that everyone wants to get to know? Then upload 'em to the
Celebrity Exchange at thesims.ea.com and see how they stack up against the competition.
You must have The Sims Superstar installed in order to use The Sims Make-A-Celebrity.
Here’s how you can personalize your Celebrities:
- Name and description
- Gender, body type (thin, fit, fat) and skin tone. The Celebrity Maker will see what skins you have in your game and you can pick from that list (head and body).
- Personality/Astrological Sign. Just like it is in Create-A-Sim.
- Interests
- Star level.
After you are done creating your date, the Make-A-Celebrity tool will send you to the appropriate folder for your new Celebrity (C:\ProgramFiles\Maxis
\TheSims\TemplateCelebrity). This is where you should save your new Celebrity.
Next you will need to make some room for your new Celebrity. The Make-A-Celebrity tool will let you 'activate' your new Celebrity with the Import feature.
Here’s how it works:
- You have to actually visit the neighborhood you'd like to place your Celebrity in before you can import them.
- Click "Import" after Make-A-Celebrity loads.
- Select the Neighborhood you'd like your Celebrity to appear in.
- Select the Celebrity you'd like to replace.
- Select the Celebrity you’ve made that you would like to see in Studio Town.
- After this step you will be returned to the main menu.
When that is complete, it will be time to look in Studio Town for your new Celebrity!
If you have downloaded a previous version of the Make-A-Celebrity tool, this latest version will un-install any previous versions for you. Just double-click the executable to un-install and to install.
