If you own a copy of The Sims, and have Product Registered on TheSims.com, you can Teleport your Families to the The Sims Exchange.

Please note that the Exchange is only open to users in North America due to instability issues that could be caused by cross-downloading between languages, in order to protect you from losing your content and/or having to reinstall.

Here's how to get started:

1) Make sure you have the latest patch for your game.
Go to the Get Cool page to see if there are any patches available for your game. All patches are listed on the left side of the page under Game Patches.

2) Choose a Family to Teleport
In the Neighborhood screen of The Sims, click the icon in the upper-right hand corner for "View Web Pages" ...

The Sims will open your Internet browser and display your Address Book, which lists all your Families that are available for Teleporting. Click a family name and you will see their Family Web Page. At the bottom of the browser, you will see a link that reads "Teleport This Family" -- click this link.

3) Begin Teleportation
Read carefully the first page of The Sims Teleportation System and if you agree with the Terms of Service, click "I Agree" ... then simply follow the instructions of The Sims Teleportation System.

4) Share your Family Web Page
Your Family's Web Page will be on The Sims Exchange! Anytime you view this family on the TheSims.com, there will be a Web address in the "Address" or "Location" bar of your browser. You can email, post, enter contests and share this URL with everyone to show off your Sims Family!
