Chat times and dates are announced on the front page of thesims.ea.com .
Chat Etiquette:
- Please do not type anything unless you are asking a question to the guest. This is not an open chat you will not be able to see yourself type.
- Some of the more popular chats may have up to 500 people in attendance. Many questions may not be able to be answered.
- Please be patient. The guest speaker needs time to type.
- If you miss a chat, are unable to attend or simply want to read the chat again check out the chat transcript page after the event.
Tips and Tricks about getting a Question Answered:
- Ask interesting questions that cant be answered by looking elsewhere
- Keep your question on topic. (Don’t ask a Sims2 question in a Bustin' Out Chat)
- Don’t yell or shout in your question with capital letters
- Don’t ask about release dates of games. When a release date is announced it will be posted on the website.
- Don’t ask questions that have been answered earlier in the chat.
Log On: Approximately 10 minutes before the event is scheduled to start a log on box will appear that will allow you to connect to the chat sever.
