We have some important upcoming changes to notify you of regarding the 2004 EA Online service for the PS2 version of The Sims: Bustin' Out:

Servers for this game will no longer be in service as of August 15. You may continue to play the game up until the closure date, although certain community programs may begin to close down prior to that date. Please be advised that this does not affect PC peer-peer (IP-IP) play that may be a feature of certain games.

All of us at EA Games would like to thank you for participating in such a special online community and hope that your enthusiasm for these games will continue on beyond this game experience with some of our updated titles.

Pack Your Bags!
The Sims are making a big return to the console and this time they are Bustin' Out of the house and exploring all-new locations around town. In The Sims™ The Sims Bustin' Out, you'll play, work, and socialize with a cast of 25 outrageous new characters and climb through a dozen new careers. Along the way, you can unlock and collect over a hundred new objects and social moves exclusive to the console. The Sims Bustin' Out also features new integrated two-player gameplay and memory card support, in case you want to take your Sims over to a friend's house and show them off.


New Gameplay


 Gameplay Experience
Create a character and explore 16 all-new locations. Choose from new careers including Gangster, Athlete, Mad Scientist, and Fashion Victim that will take you through multiple ways to play and win the game. You can go back and forth through different careers and levels to unlock objects, and even play two-player throughout the entire game with your friends.

Travel seamlessly around town in your new scooter or car to play, work, and socialize. Visit never been seen new locations such as Club Rubb, the hip dance venue, or venture to the Casa Caliente to make a special friend or two.

Console exclusive objects include the DJ Booth, Climbing Wall, and Sim-Eating Plant. Unlock hidden, appearance-enhancing accessories, clothes, and hairstyles. French Kiss, Pull Finger, and Dirty Dance are just a few of the new social moves.

  Meet New Characters
Watch out for the wacky group of characters such as Bing Bling, the party animal, Goldie Toane, the workout queen, and General Payne, the military roughneck.


Create-A-Sim


  Create-a-Sim
Personality matters! Revamp your Sims with new hip clothes and give your Sims personality traits that impact and affect gameplay experience. An outgoing or playful Sim is destined to show off smooth moves on the dance floor and an active Sim will conquer the climbing wall like no other.
