Some houses in The Sims are already haunted. Now, with The Sims Livin' Large, you get zombies and monsters! With a little work, you can find even more creepy characters available on one of our great fan sites.
This Halloween, we're looking for the spookiest stories in The Sims. Spin your tale of the supernatural in your family album, then upload your family to the Exchange for everyone to see. After all, the best ghost stories are the ones that scare the most people.
To enter, Teleport a Family Album to The Sims Exchange and send an email to thesimscontest@maxis.com.
All entries must include your name, address, e-mail address, birthdate and the unique URL of your Spooky Story house on The Sims Exchange.
The email address that you send this from must match the email address of your Product Registration. All entries must be received by October 26, 2000.

Official Rules and Conditions
1. Entry. You will need a copy of The Sims to create a Sims Livin' Large house and family album. To enter, submit your name, username on TheSims.com, address,
e-mail address, birthdate, Sims family name and the lot number of your Sims house via email to TheSimsContest@Maxis.com. The subject
line should read "Spooky Story Contest - Lot #", where the # represents the lot number where your house is located (for example, "Lot 2").
Upload your Sims house, via the Exchange on http://www.TheSims.com.
All entries must be
received by 11:59pm PST, the day of October 26, 2000. No other methods of entry will be accepted. Only one entry per person. Additional
entries will be disqualified. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for lost, incomplete, incorrect, or misdirected entries or corrupted data.
Entrants accept and agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and Conditions. By entering the contest, entrants agree that Sponsor
may post their entries on Sponsor's web site along with entrants' names and hometowns without any further notification or compensation to entrants.
Entrants further agree that Sponsor has the right to use the entries, entrant's name, likeness and any other information supplied by entrant, in
any and all publicity and advertising for Maxis, Electronic Arts, www.TheSims.com, or this contest without any notification or compensation, except
where prohibited by law.
2. Prizes. There will be one winner, selected by members of The Sims staff. Winner will receive a Maxis prize package of The Sims
promotional items (approximate retail value not to exceed $50). Winners will be selected based on Creative Content (80%) and Gameplay (20%), as
determined by the independent judgment of The Sims staff. Winners will be announced on Sponsor's web site and prizes will be awarded after November 2, 2000.
Decisions of the The Sims staff are final. No transfer or substitution of prizes for cash or otherwise is permitted, except that Sponsor retains the right
to substitute a prize of approximately equal value. Winner's entry, name and hometown may be posted on Sponsor's web site. Winners will sign a publicity
release if requested to do so by Sponsor or may be disqualified from the contest.
3. Eligibility and General Conditions. This contest is open to U.S. and Canadian residents only. Void in Florida and Quebec. Employees of Electronic Arts
Inc., and its affiliates, subsidiaries, representatives, advertising, promotion and publicity agencies and the immediate families of each are not eligible
for this contest. Contest is void where prohibited, restricted or taxed by law, and is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Taxes
on prizes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the individual winners. Sponsor is not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, lost
or unavailable network connections or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic or other communications. Sponsor, in its sole
discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person who tampers with entry process or the operation of the web site, or who is otherwise in violation of
these rules. Sponsor has the right to cancel, terminate or modify this contest if it is not capable of completion as planned due to infection by computer virus,
bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort. Sponsor and its affiliates and subsidiaries, representatives, advertising, promotion
and publicity agencies, are not in any way responsible or liable for damages, loss or injury resulting from acceptance, loss or use of any prizes awarded in this contest.
